Makos Weekly Update

1. If you are new to the team and haven't registered, please follow instructions.

Step #1
Pay at the front desk of the
MCRC for the group your swimmer is in.

Step #2 Pay their USA fees thru the web site under the tab Fall/Winter USA membership. Every
swimmer must pay their USA fee even if they are only swimming HS. The USA member is for 1 year. Please disregard the receipt that says it ends Dec 31, 2014. That is the date the signup membership ends on the web site not when the USA membership ends.

2. New meet sign ups are now posted on our website. Please look at the right side of the main page and follow directions.

All swimmers must sign up on the web site Fall/Winter USA Registration to complete in meets. You will not be able to sign up for these meets till you have completed this process. Every swimmer must be a USA registered swimmer to compete in meets but also to practice.

4.  Active.com is upgrading their software and the meet entry site is temporarily down. We are using Team Manager in the interim for meet entries and this involves a few extra steps for us. To ensure that we submit our entries as soon as possible to give our athletes the best chance to avoid being closed out of meets, we need your cooperation. You will now click on the email meet entry for the specific meet you will be attending and send us that email. Once we receive your email and it is uploaded, you will receive a thank you email. If you don’t receive a thank you email within 1-2 days, please email us again. We will also send out the completed entries for the weekend USA meets plus post them on the web site once the deadline has passed. We not do this for dual meets. Please check the entries to make sure your swimmer events are correct. There is no need to reply to the email, if the entries are correct. If they are not correct, please contact us ASAP. After the entry deadline passes, entries had been emailed and posted on the web site, I will email the host it is two days after the entry deadline. At that point, the team will not be responsible for any errors or omissions.

5. The Pentathlon entries were due Saturday night. Please check out the meet entries on the right side of the webpage. I will be sending those meet entries to the host Tuesday night. If you're not in the meet or entries are incorrect, you need to contact me via email before Tuesday night.

6. All new swimmers and parents please check out the parent corner on the web site. It will help answer some questions.
